Welcome to 1st Gawsworth Scouts! We are a community group dedicated to providing young people with the opportunity to learn valuable life skills and build character through scouting. We offer a range of scouting programs for young people of all ages, including Beavers, Cubs and Scouts. Our programs are designed to teach young people valuable life skills such as leadership, teamwork, problem-solving, and outdoor skills.
We welcome all young people to join our scouting programs, regardless of their background or experience. Our programs are designed to be inclusive and accessible to all. The largest community hall in Gawsworth allows for an amazing space to host Birthday parties, wedding receptions and much more. With high eves (10ft), direct access to Gawsworth Park and a main floor space of over 165 sqm, it can accommodate most needs.

The Young Leader Scheme is a fantastic opportunity for Young People aged 14-17 to discover their talent – develop and grow your leadership skills whilst helping others to do the same.
For the group subs, we follow the school terms and are £35 per child per term. We ask for these to be paid no later than half way through the term. For any more information, feel free to get in touch or just ask one of the leaders at the end of the night.
